The Seven Stars in Kyushu is a deluxe sleeping cruise train running across the island of Kyushu, Japan.

Concept of Coaches: The train has seven coaches: 5 sleeping couch, 1 dining, and 1 lounge car and can carry 28 passengers in one journey. At the end of the train, there is an observation car to let visitors enjoy the beautiful fall in Japan. Passengers are allowed to select from standard suite and deluxe suite.
Suite facilities: One standard suite has a sitting area, sleeping area, a private bathroom with shower and toilet facilities. While the deluxe suite is at the end of the carriage has a sleeping area, sitting area, and a private bathroom and it can carry 3 passengers each. Deluxe suite has one more pro, a rearview window which allows the passenger to enjoy the beautiful scenery from the room.
Dining and Restaurant: The Jupiter dining car has the best chef and stewards to serve the palatable meal to the passengers. The meals served there are traditional and have reflected of the culture of Kyushu’s different parts. Light breakfast, lip-smacking lunch, and soul-fulfilling dinner are served at the table for the sake of passengers. Bar and lounge: The Blue Moon Lounge Car is both serves bar service for all hours. Travelers can choose from a vast range of drinks and beverages available in the lounge. They offer various types of delicious cocktail and sweet treats too. There is a grand piano placed to make the experience more aesthetic, evening musical entertainment makes the tour more lively.
Itinerary: There are two itinerary routes planned by JR Kyushu.
2 days/1 night: The tour starts from Hakata station takes passengers to 4 stations in northern Kyushu. In this tour passengers also take a trip to Fukuoka, Oita, Mount Aso, and Japan’s largest active volcano. The night time is spent sightseeing in Yufuin and Nagasaki. Passengers also visit Arita porcelain kiln and witness 400-year-old pottery heritage.
4 days/ 3 nights: The tour starts from Hakata station and takes passengers to 5 stops before coming back to Hakata. Visitors experience relaxation in Onsen hot spring. They also visit the scenic volcano, Kyushu’s principal cities, sightseeing in Yufuin, Mimitsu, Miyazaki and overnight stay in Kirishima.
Route: The train runs in 2 days and 4 days loop. It starts at Hakata and ends its journey to Hakata. Visitors are allowed to enjoy different coach tours at different stations falling in the route. Route of 2-day Itinerary taking passengers from Hakata to Nagasaki to Aso to Yufuin and ending to Hakata again, in 4-day Itinerary Hakata to Yufuin to Miyazaki to Miyakonojo to Hayato to Kagoshima Chuo to Kagoshima to Aso to Bungo- Mari and Hakata is the end.
Bookings: Bookings are done before 5-6 months from the tour through an online website. Bookings periods remain open for 15-20 days and is done by filling an application form.
